Is this mainly for real-life encounters?
Yes. Every line is tied to a real moment: a cafe, the street, a night out, the walk back to your bike. Dating-app conversations are included too, but the site is built first for the ten seconds when someone is standing in front of you.
Is cold approach respectful in Vietnam?
It can be, and it depends entirely on how you do it. These are not joke pick-up lines: they are short, polite sentences that are easy to refuse, and a good part of the pack is about reading a no and leaving well. There are no tricks and no pressure, and nothing here is about wearing someone down.
How do the flashcards work?
The situation comes first, the line second. You pick a level, beginner, intermediate or advanced, set by how long the sentences are, then a direction. What you say: you say the line out loud, then answer whether you could, and you see and hear it either way. What she says: you hear her answer with the text hidden, say whether you understood, then see her words and what to do next. You always commit before the card opens, so what the site remembers is what you really knew. Only the speaking direction makes a line ready, and only once you have done it on two different days. The cards come back on their own until they stick.
