The card shows the situation and what you want to say. You say the Vietnamese out loud, tap the card to flip it, and see the line, its trap and, when it has one, its synthesised audio. Then: Easy, or Hard.
Harder, and the only one that makes a line ready to use on a pavement.
2 · Listening

You hear her answer, with no text (or read it, when it has no audio yet). You work out what she said, then flip the card: her words, what they mean for you and what to do in the next second. Then: Easy, or Hard.
This is where men actually freeze: not on the line they rehearsed, on the sentence after it. Listening first, because on a pavement there are no subtitles.
3 · Scenes
A beach, a street, a café. Pick what you want to say, see it in Vietnamese and say it out loud. She answers, her face reacts, and you pick what comes next, up to her Zalo or a clean exit.
The lines stop being a list: you hear them in the order a real conversation uses them.

Lines and answers that have audio play it, synthesised by a speech engine, not recorded by a native speaker: you hear her before you see her words, and you hear the line the moment you answer. The others show their words. You judge yourself before the card opens, never after, and what you answer is what decides when it comes back. The two sides are tracked apart: understanding her answers never makes a line ready to say, and a line is ready only once you have produced the Vietnamese from memory on two different days.
